CROSS CANADA HOCKEY POOLS
Q. What's the difference between your pay and free pool?
A. The free tournament has a lower prize amount and 2 free trades a month. The pay pool has larger prizing and lets you do 5 trades a month. Each trade in that pool costs 1 credit.
Q. How do trades work?
A. At any time you can click on the word 'trade' next to your pool. This will take you the trades screen where you choose the player you want to release, the player you want to acquire and then confirm the trade. Trades need to be submitted by midnight in order for them to take affect for the next day.
Once you trade a player you keep all of the points he's accumulated to the date of the transaction and start accumulating points for your new player. You do not get the points that were earned by the acquired player before the date of the acquisition.
Q. If I trade a player can I trade him back at a later time?
A. Yes. You can release and acquire the same player as often as you like as long as you have trades available.
Q. My stats seem to be wrong.
A. Stats revisions are always happening so if you think your stats are wrong please go to NHL.com and review the player's stats in question and send us a link through the help form at the bottom.

Q. I think I've won but I didn't get a notification yet?
A. We have a 24 hour delay before we award any prizes to people to ensure that there are no stats issues. As soon as we confirm accuracy we issue the prize
Q. How do I see the teams I picked?
A. Click on the [+] next to your team name and it will expand to show you your picks.
SITE FUNCTIONALITY
Q. What are "Private Game" codes used for?
A. Those game codes are used for private games that we run for groups that we are working with. To compete against people on our site in the public games you don't need a private game code.
Q. How do I buy credits?
A. You can buy credits by clicking on the 'My Credits' link that is on the black bar under the top banner once you login. Select the amount of credits you want to purchase and enter your credit card information.
Q. How long does it take to get a cheque?
A. We try to process cheques as quickly as possible. It generally takes between 3-4 weeks for us to get the cheque printed and signed. We mail it out out to you after that and the rest is all on Canada Post!
Q. How do I change my password or user name?
A. Click on 'Edit Profile' on the black bar under the top banner once you login . Here you can change your password, change your screen name, manage friends, upload your user picture and other things.
